ABOUT ME
Kathy Bell is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate in North Carolina. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Townsend Institute at Concordia University at Irvine. Kathy has completed Level 1 & 2 Narrative Focused Trauma Care (NFTC) at the Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. She has completed training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy Essentials (EFIT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Townsend Character Model of Development.
Carl Jung and Henri Nouwen call helpers “wounded healers.” As a wounded healer, Kathy has journeyed through her own childhood trauma, spiritual abuse, grief, and the emotional and physical dysregulation all of this leaves in our hearts, beliefs, and bodies.
Through engaging her own work, Kathy has come to believe in the profound transformation that can happen, the wholeheartedness that happens within, and the peace and shalom that occurs through engaging our stories in safe places.
I’d love to help you find your new path. See how you can work with me to discover how to live with light.
